Coke Spur, Mississippi

Located eleven miles southeast of Corinth and about two miles from Glen, Coke Spur was established in 1920, being named for Tom Coke, a farmer who operated a large sawmill on this site.


Mr. Coke bought a large tract of land on which he built a spur line to the Southern Railroad for the shipping of lumber. This line became known as Coke Spur and later as Coke.
