Bowlin, Mississippi in Attala County

Bowlin was settled on what was later CR 4101 at CR 4205 about 5 miles east of Durant. It was named by Jack Bowlin. According to a Historical Marker in the old Rosemond Cemetery, the sttlement date was sometime prior to 1850.
