Earlyville was located about seven miles NW of Kosciusko, being formed by the Temple family in the late 1800's. A post office was established on 1900, put the name Temple was rejected by the Post Office Department. It was named Earlyville because the Temples were such early risers. The place became extinct when the post office was abolished in 1906.
