Services for Billy Frazier, 76, of Picayune were held Wednesday at 2:30 p.m. at Bear Creek Baptist Church with burial in the church cemetery. Visitation is Wednesday 1 p.m. until service at 2:30 at the church.
Frazier, a native of Weir, died Dec. 25, 2006 in Picayune. He was a mechanic for General Box Factory. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Picayune where he was a deacon and taught fourth grade boys in Sunday School for many years. He moved to Picayune in 1962.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Harvey J. and Nina Parish Frazier; two sisters, Margaret Ann Frazier and Kathleen Calvert; two brothers, Monroe Frazier and Marvin Frazier.
He is survived by his wife, Emma Dean Frazier of Picayune; daughter, Glenda Frazier Wilson and husband Clarence Wilson of Picayune; son, Harvey Frazier and wife, Pam Patch Frazier of Picayune; daughter, Fran Frazier Killen and husband Michael of Philadelphia; seven grandchildren, Rhonda Wilson Sanders and husband, Albert Sanders, Billy Wilson and wife Alise, Keegan Frazier, Kyle Frazier and wife Sudan, Cody King, Emma Kate Killen and Kelsy Killen; three great-grandchildren, Morgan Sanders, Karly Wilson and Hailey Wilson; a brother, Joe Frazier of Jackson.
Rev. Bobby Parish and Rev. Tim Tolleson will officiate.
Jordan Funeral Home is handling local arrangements.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the First Baptist Church of Picayune, building fund, in memory of Billy Frazier.
