Joint Services Due for Husband, Wife.

Joint services for Artesia postmaster, Mrs. Virginia Pritchard Foster, and her husband, Awtrey Foster, will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Artesia Methodist Church at Artesia. Burial will be in Pythian Cemetery near Artesia with Memorial Funeral Home in charge.

Mr. Foster, 53, a farmer and postal assistant, died Friday at his home at Artesia, and Mrs. Foster, 51, died Thursday at Columbus Hospital.

They leave a daughter, Mrs. Virginia Lindsey of Port Arthur, Texas.

He leaves his mother, Mrs. Myrtle A. Foster of Artesia; two brothers, Adolph Foster of New Orleans and Monroe Foster[FAG # 51963110] of Tupelo, and a sister Mrs. Helen Cash of Hattiesburg.

She leaves her mother, Mrs. Margie Pritchard of Artesia; four brothers, C.D. Pritchard, Jr., Joe A. Pritchard and Robert L. Pritchard, all of Jackson, and O.B. Pritchard of Dublin, Ga. and a sister, Mrs. C.F. Banister, of Dublin.
